In all, the CYTF awarded $11,669 in scholarship and grant funding during the spring funding cycle.
Fourteen young people received special need scholarships to help them pursue the sport and the following three organizations will run summer tennis programs for kids from under-resourced communities.
The Colorado Lions Youth Organization (Montbello) will add tennis to their program offerings and introduce 50 kids to the sport
Fraser Valley Metro Recreation District (Fraser Valley) – will provide tennis opportunities to 150 youth
Mesa County Tennis (Grand Junction) – will serve 450 youth through tennis 
Scholarship and grant funding requests will be considered again this fall. The application deadline is September 1. Applications are available here and are based on need.
